Nepal holds a third of the entire Himalaya in a country you can cross in a single day's flight — eight of the world's ten highest mountains, the deepest gorge on earth, and altitudes that climb from 65 m to 8,848 m within 150 km. No landscape on the planet rises faster, and none rewards slow travel more.
But the mountains are only half the story. Between the peaks live the Sherpa, Tamang, Gurung and Newar peoples — the trails pass through their villages, monasteries and festivals, and every journey we run is guided by people who grew up on them. This is our home ground, and it shows in the details.
