Day 1

Arrive Kathmandu

  • Rest of the day at leisure to familiarize and explore local market
  • Optional: Group & private tours and activities available on request at extra cost
  • Optional: Great evening at Chandragiri hills with cable car ride to 2551 m

Day 2

UNESCO World Heritage Centre

  • Visit important Hindu and Buddhist sites (among seven group of monuments and buildings)
  • Morning rituals at Swoyambhunath Stupa (oldest Buddhist pilgrimage site atop a small hill)
  • Get blessing from Kumari-only living goddess in the world
  • walk in the vibe of hippies street to taste some local delicacies
  • Darshan of Kaal Bhairav-The fierce form of lord Shiva, worshipped as the lord of time and death
  • Traditional farewell ritual ceremony to loved once at Pashupatinath temple crematory
  • Peaceful aura of Boudhanath Stupa-The largest of its kind

Drive to Chitwan (175 km, 5 hrs)

  • Resort activities: Village walk, Sunset tour, Cultural show and dinner
  • Optional: on the way Trishuli river rafting 3-4 hrs, Grade 2-3 rapids)

Day 4

Full day safari activities (canoe ride, nature walk, elephant breeding centre, Jeep/elephant's back safari

  • Optional: Tree Tower overnight stay inside jungle with packed dinner

Drive to Pokhara (165 km, 5 hrs drive)

  • Boat ride to visit Taal Barahi temple in the middle of Phewa lake
  • Optional: Quick stop at Bandipur village-The queen of hills

Day 6

Sightseeing tour in Pokhara

  • Sunrise drive to Sarangkot. Visit Gupteshwor cave temple, Davis falls, Bindhyabasini temple, Seti river gorge.
  • Afternoon: Free time to relax by the lakeside or explore local market

Day 7

Fly back to Kathmandu (25 min).

  • Free time to explore Thamel market.
  • Better: To have right hand side seat for possible panoramic mountain views
