Arrive Kathmandu (1400 m)

  • Welcome, orientation, introduction to the Beyul concept

Kathmandu free / preparation day

  • Visit Boudhanath or Pharping (Guru Rinpoche sites), group intention setting, final preparations

Day 3

Drive Kathmandu → Machha Khola (900 m)

  • Scenic drive along the river valleys, transition into the mountains

Overnight: Guest House/LodgeMeals: B, L, D

Day 4

Trek Machha Khola → Jagat (1,340 m)

  • Enter Manaslu Conservation Area, first suspension bridges and riverside walking

Day 5

Trek Jagat → Lokpa (2,240 m)

  • Gateway to Tsum Valley, gradual ascent, forest trails

Day 6

Trek Lokpa → Chumling (2,386 m)

  • Enter the sacred valley, visit local gompas, first strong sense of Beyul atmosphere

Trek Chumling → Chhokang Paro (3,010 m)

  • Upper Tsum begins, traditional villages, mani walls, prayer flags

Day 8

Trek Chhokang Paro → Nile (via Milarepa Cave) (3,360 m)

  • Visit Piren Phu (Milarepa’s Cave), contemplative walking

Day 9

Nile → Mu Gompa & exploration (3,700 m)

  • Reach the spiritual heart of the valley. Time for meditation, monastery visit, and quiet reflection

Day 10

Full day at Mu Gompa / surrounding sacred sites

  • Deep retreat day: meditation, possible interaction with monks, optional short hike to nearby viewpoints or Dhephu Doma

Mu Gompa → Rachen Gompa area

  • Visit Rachen Nunnery, experience the feminine spiritual lineage of the valley

Begin descent: Chhokang Paro → Chumling or Lokpa

  • Gentle walking, integration of the experience, group sharing

Trek to Jagat or Machha Khola → Drive toward Kathmandu

  • Long descent and return journey
