Trip overview

The journey

The Annapurna Circuit is the world's most celebrated long trek for a reason: no other route passes through so many climates and cultures. It begins in subtropical rice terraces, climbs through pine forest into the arid, Tibetan-influenced Manang valley, crosses the prayer-flagged summit of Thorong La at 5,416 m, and descends to the sacred temple of Muktinath and the deepest gorge on earth.

Our version includes the side trip to Tilicho Lake — one of the highest large lakes in the world — and uses jeep stages to skip the road sections, keeping every walking day worth walking.

Trip highlights

  • Cross Thorong La (5,416 m)
  • Side trip to Tilicho Lake (4,919 m)
  • The arid, Tibetan-influenced Manang valley

Ama Dablam Base Camp Trek with Heli Return

This is a scenic and relatively short trek in the Everest (Khumbu) region that takes you to the base of one of the most beautiful mountains in the world — Ama Dablam (6,812 m). Adding a helicopter return eliminates the long walk back, saves time and energy, and offers spectacular aerial views of the Himalayas.
